It's been months since I've actually wanted to paint something. I have painted things here and there since March, but not because I wanted to.
Today, though, I was wriggling around in bed not wanting to get up (as per usual) and started daydreaming about the clinking sound a brush makes when you're mixing paint in a glass bottle. I love that sound. And I started thinking about that feeling of lifting a brush out of thick paint and the difference in that and lifting a paint brush out of thin paint.
I can't paint right now... for two reasons.
I have a homeschool day today. I'm thinking of introducing the littles to some literature. I think they might be able to handle Lord of the Flies, but I don't think I have that in my personal library.
My table isn't set up for painting right now. It's not really set up for anything. It's in pieces leaning up against the wall. That whole room is still in complete disarray.
If I do start painting again I will let you know, but my goal right now is not to sell. So... we'll see how it goes. If you're on tiktok, follow me at @thepopartgirl for painting videos.
